Representing the beautiful cultures of the Pacific, we spent a day in Yuba City, CA along with hundreds of Pacific Islanders celebrating Guam’s Annual Liberation event hosted by the Yuba Sutter Chamorro Club. Holiday Art characters make friendly communicators on Greeting Cards, so that’s been the common thread here.  A great story I’ve heard recently tells of a senior who fell asleep with his new Greeting Card aside his pillow.  I’d like to think he enjoyed it enough to have it close by as he fell asleep but quite frankly, seniors can do some interesting things. A “Golden” opportunity was recently completed when I finished a custom art piece for Golden State Warriors Point Guard Stephen Curry. This art project took about 3 weeks to create and was delivered framed and ready to display, destined for Stephens private art collection.

The art features Curry taking a 3 point shot, rising above would be defenders who simply can’t keep up. Telling a story from blacktop days to NBA plays, the young, electrifying Curry always finds the connect. Keep up the hustle and Have FUN with your Game Stephen! Go Warriors

The path of art can lead many directions.

For me, it has been an adventure into banners, murals, stickers, posters, logo design, digital arts, fine art and t-shirts to name a few…  During my early art years, I spent countless years freehand airbrushing every conceivable idea a person may have brought to me. I’ve learned so much about balance, composition and color control while hand painting thousands of projects for customers in search of something special.  Still growing.  Ars gratia artis!

Eric played his entire NFL career with the San Francisco 49ers and helped the team win 4 Superbowl titles during his career. #WINNING!

I realize this is OLD NEWS, but the infamous Golf swing of the Basketball great Charles Barkley never ceases to amaze me. 5 years of Golf and I’ve never seen a swing quite like this. It has me wondering what the heck is going on here?!?! I’m no trainer but it seems to be a mental thing followed by what looks like a train wreck in trousers.

Needless to say, Sir Charles, your fans love you and we’ll all TOAST the day you solve your swing mystery. If you TRULY love the game, keep at it.  A try beats a failure.
